EGYPTIAN COURT SENTENCE 529 ISLAMIST TO DEATH.

A court in Egypt has sentenced to death 529 supporters of ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi.
The were convicted of charges including murder, Reuters news agency reported.
The group, members of the banned Muslim Brotherhood, are part of a larger trial involving more than 1,200 supporters of Mr Morsi.
Egyptian authorities have cracked down harshly on Islamists since Mr Morsi was removed in July. Thousands have been arrested and hundreds killed.
